Gannon finished 7-5 in dual competition last season, producing its eighth consecutive winning season. The Golden Knights placed fifth at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One and 40th at the NCAA Division II National Championships. The squad qualified three wrestlers for the national championships for the first time since 2012.

Henry’s program has been one steep in tradition. The program has produced 22 All-Americans who have achieved all-america status a combined 32 times. He has coached 22 regional champions, along with 74 All-Academic wrestlers and 69 national qualifiers. Gannon recorded the 18th-highest team grade point average in NCAA Division II last year, representing its 10th top-20 finish since 2000-01.
